The UCF club team played the breakers last night in the semi-final game of the Central Florida Soccer league. The knights got off to a quick start with a quick goal by Sam Major who beat 3 defenders and ended with a far-post shot beating the keeper. The breakers answered right back with a goal of their own making it 1-1. In the last 10 minutes of the game, the Knights scored 2 more goals by Shannon Schaefer and another goal by Sam Major for the nail in the coffin. The final score was 3-1 and the knights move on to the finals next Tuesday night.
The UCF club team is heading to UNC-Chapel Hill this Friday for the UNC 7v7 Tournament. Good luck to both teams and bring back the champioship!
