Last week, the Knights played White Lightning for the second time around. The Knights won 3-1 and played a marvelous game.
Last night, the Knights took on Shoot the Gap. The Knights grand forward, Samantha Major scored the first goal in the first five minutes of the game. Shoot the Gap came back with a goal of their own, tying the score. Shoot the Gap had a break away, that our magnificent sweeper, Monika Haerns quickly stopped. She recieved a red card, after a great play, and the Knights played with only ten players to Shoot the Gap's 11 for the entire game. Shoot the Gap got a PK in the box that resulted in a goal. Kat Schratt and Brittany scored two more goals for the Knights, and Shoot the Gap put in two more, and the ending score was 4-3. The Knights played spectacular for the fact that they had so many opportunities playing down a player.
