KNIGHTS V. WHISKERS
After a well needed Spring Break the Knights came back stronger than ever. The first half the Knights illustrated their composure and excellent ball control. The first goal was scored by Ericka Shaefer shot from outside the 18 yard box which showed great percision by the midfielder. The Knights continued on, creating many opportunities to score another goal. Kimmy Westmoreland, outside midfielder, finally had a chance to lay a beautiful goal in the net on a free kick for the Knights. In the Second Half, the Knights goalie Ashley Taylor stepped up her game with an amazing save on a break away from the Whiskers. Shortly after, a shot placed on the opponents net was sealed by Mattie Guttery who showed great hustle in the Mid Field. The Kick Off after the Knights Goal began with a long shot goal from the Whiskers leading into a 3-1 game. But the Knights demonstrated great composure and Sumicko Chipman made a great goal coming from the Knights defensive end. The Knights won 4-1.
