The Knights last night, played in their Fourth Game of the season agains SURF. Though the frosty weather outside the Knights, played a great game stayin composed throughout much of the first half. Soon enough Kimmy Westmoreland was able make a great pass and go with forward Elise Larrett who scored a spectacular first goal. Later on in the half Kimmy Westmoreland provided the Knights with a beautiful cross, from a corner kick, on the goal and Midfielder Ericka Schaefer got a head on the ball and scored, leaving the Knights 2-0. But shortly afterwards Surf came back and scored on the Knights. In the second half the Knights continued on to play a composed game, as the faced the bitter weather outside. The knights defense stayed strong throughout the games as a few new defenders, such as Evi Sirriani, definetaly showed great potential playing defense. By the end of the second half Elise Larett was able to place a great volley in the back of the net. Forward Mattie Guttery, with great hustle on the field, was able to get a foot on the ball following a cross by McKenzie Cloak. The Knight concluded the game with a 4-1 win !
The Knights will have a bye for the follwing game on March 10th but will return on March 17th again at Central Winds !
